There are a few ways to get to Glenorchy and Kinloch, here’s how:
BY CAR
Glenorchy is a 48 kilometre scenic drive from Queenstown, allow 45 minutes driving time. Kinloch is a further 26 kilometres. The road is sealed for the 17kms to the Dart Bridge, the last 9 kms is unsealed though well graded for a normal car or van. Click here for information about things to do on the drive up.
If you are travelling with your own vehicle we do recommend that you use it so that you get the most out of your visit to our gorgeous location. Before renting a vehicle, do check there is insurance cover to drive on unsealed roads.
We have a shop/cafe in Glenorchy, Akin, please come and see us for any assistance or information so you don’t miss any of the local sights.

BY VEHICLE TRANSFER
There are only scheduled buses from Queenstown Nov-April, outside of this time guests will need to hire a car, arrange a private charter or book a taxi. All transfers must be pre-booked and have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Minimum numbers apply. Contact Info&Track to book.
Prices from the airport are similar to the below from Queenstown plus around $30 extra, minimum 2 people.

BY BOAT TRANSFER
Boat transfers are available with Queenstown Fishing during daylight hours, for a minimum for 4 people (you can pay the difference if your group is smaller). You can email or call 0800466533 or +6421904462 to arrange a time. Services are subject availability and favourable weather.
