Join Landscape Photographer Glen Howey on a 2-day workshop showcasing one of New Zealand’s most iconic and photogenic locations. Over the weekend you will capture many stunning locations, from a dawn shoot at the famous boatshed to sunset views of the Humboldt Ranges and Temple Peak. Sunset & sunrise each day will see you shooting out across Lake Wakatipu and exploring Paradise and the start of the famous Routeburn Track.

We're delighted to be working with Aire Libre, who design running experiences all over the world that connect you spiritually to nature outside and to yourself. They look for new perspectives within cultures and communities in remote places that exist outside of modern societal structures, which are focused only in progress and gains.
Want to host a retreat at Kinloch?
We have a 7-metre yurt set in the bush overlooking the lake, nestled in the beech forest, a restaurant that offers retreat-style menus to keep everyone energised, and varying styles of accommodation so people of all budgets can choose to join your retreat.
Kinloch is set right by Lake Whakatipu, which has a temperature of between 8 and 12 degrees year round, making us the perfect place for retreats with a Wim Hof element.
