We hire short and long term staff
On-site accommodation is available, with kayak, bike and hot tub use included
The work
Our staff work across all areas in our small family run business, with day-to-day duties depending on the season, the number and mix of in-house guests and ongoing project work :-
We will try our best to match your skills to the work available and are always happy to train up those keen and quick to learn.
About you
Due to our location we need resilient staff who enjoy an outdoors setting. It’s important to us that the team consists of the right people so that everyone has a great time at Kinloch. We are looking for people who are:
General Staff (Oct-April)
30-40 hours per week
From $25.30/hr, plus holiday pay, depending on ability and experience
In addition to the regular work, we have a yurt where any staff who are trained in practices such as yoga can offer classes. In warmer months we have kayaks that require a guide for our guests to use them.
Casual Staff (year round)
Ideal for those looking for a short term change of scene or a stunning wilderness base for exploring the great outdoors.
$22.70/hr, plus 8% holiday pay
We offer 20 hours a week to exchange for the costs of your on site accommodation and an evening meal every night in our restaurant with the team, effectively a help exchange deal. There may be more hours for the right people who work at a good pace, to a good standard and independently.
For work that requires training, e.g. housekeeping, we ask for a minimum of 3 weeks commitment, but we have plenty of manual work usually for those looking for a shorter stay.
All staff must have the ability to work legally in New Zealand, with a valid bank account and IRD number. We require all our staff to speak English fluently. It is preferable if you have a valid drivers license.
On site accommodation is in the cozy 5 bedroom staff house, with great lake and mountain views. The bills are included and you’ll have access to unlimited high speed wifi, free laundry, a TV room with over 200 DVDs, fully equipped kitchen, bikes, kayaks and hot tub with stunning views. If you like dogs, Holly and Wilbert, our family pets, always appreciate a good walk/swim!
Our company values are: Intelligence, Relevance, Thoughtfulness, Community, Environment and Fun. Can you identify yourself with our values? If all of the above sounds like a great way to explore the most stunning part of NZ, please send your CV to [email protected]
